Which CPU bundle deal should i get for gaming?

I just bought something very very similar to the first option (only I got an msi mobo but ram and cpu are the same) and it works great for me. I was also torn between the Q6600 and the AMD Phenom like you are. I decided to go with the Q6600 as they don't produce much heat and can therefore be over clocked even with stock cooling. I have had mine about a week and havnt found a game it cant run (I also have an 8800GT). I can play Half life 2 full settings with no lag and very quick loading times. I would say get option 1 even though it is $100 more.
