Port Support Vista

Can I add a 3rd monitor using the built in video card on my motherboard and video card in Vista?
I ATI video card that has a standard video port and a DVI port. I have two monitors connected with a dual monitor. It turns out that we now have a monitor screen flat parts and wondered if I could connect to the video port on my motherboard (currently unused) and then followed a 3rd step. Vista can support a monitor 3?
Video on the port side of the motherboard is generally disabled if you have a supplement to the video card inserted into an expansion slot. I do not think that works. There is nothing wrong with trying however, and give it a shot and see what happens.
