Can I upgrade my power supply in my Dell Optiplex GX280 Slim tower in order to upgrade my video card?
I would like to replace my ATI x300 PCIe video card with an Nvidia 8800 GTX in my 3.4GHz 2GB ram Dell Optiplex GX280. It’s a slim tower case, so my question deals with 2 things. One: can I upgrade the power supply in order to support the additional power of the new card? And: I an not 100% sure that the card will fit into the case dimension wise, does anyone know if it will?
Also, in the event that this is not a good plan, what is the best option for me to upgrade the video card in order to obtain great video gaming capability?

the previous link is a scheme of my slimline optiplex gx280. can anyone help me figure out if i can upgrade my power supply so that i can install a better video card? i was planning on puting in an nVidia 8800GTX PCIe.
Dell uses proprietary parts and sizes, they do not follow the standard size convention that HP, Gateway and the rest of the computer use. I find the only way to upgrade certain parts (such as Power Supply) this needs to be purchased through Dell. One of the big reasons I am not a huge fan, love their service and warranty hate the idea parts have to come from them.
